-Students will be working on an oral presentation in class this week.  They are to choose an object or a person that they consider to be very important to them.  They are to write a minimum of 7-8 sentences about their object/person.  They should be able to complete the 7-8 sentences in class.  I can assist them, however I want to see them using the dictionaries/any devices they may have and their notes to write simple, present tense sentences.  The students were given an outline with a rubrique with the expectations on the sheet.  They could answer the following questions in their presentation.

-Where did I get this object or how do I know this person?  Où est-ce que j`ai eu cet objet?  Comment est-ce que je connais cette personne?

-Why is this object/person important to me.

EXAMPLE:  J'aimerais vous presenter ma grandmère Pellerin. My grandmère vient d`une grande famille.
